These gluten-free beef burgers are a great alternative to regular burgers and still feel indulgent! Kids will love them and wont even notice the extra veges hidden in the patties. Naked Burgers are a go to recipe in my house. Simple, delicious, all the burger flavour. Whether you’re looking for a bunless burger or you prefer the naked burger variety, this simple recipe is customisable and OH SO tasty.

Ingredients:

  • Beef Mince 500 gram
  • Onion 1 medium, chopped
  • Tomato 1 medium, chopped
  • Green chili 1 , chopped
  • Cumin seeds, 1 Tbsp
  • Red chili flakes, 1 tspSalt – 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds,crushed 1 Tbsp
  • Fresh coriander
  • Corn Flour, 2 Tbsp
  • Pomegranate Seeds, crushed 1 Tbsp
  • Egg 1, well beaten
  • Lettuce, few leaves
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • Pickle (as per taste)
  • Tomato. slice cut (to serve)
  • Potato Chips (To serve)
  • Mint Yogurt Sauce (To Serve)

Method:

  1. Place mince, onions, Tomato, Green chili , Cumin seeds, Red chili flakes, Coriander seeds,
  2. Fresh coriander , Corn Flour, Pomegranate Seeds, Salt and Egg in a large bowl. Mix well with hands.
  3. Form into burger patties. Heat a large lightly oiled non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook burgers for 3-4 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking. Set aside on a plate loosely covered with foil.
  4. In a small bowl combine yogurt and mint. Season.
  5. Divide patties, tomatoes, pickles and cucumber between lettuce leaves. Top with yoghurt. Serve with remaining lettuce leaves, any remaining yoghurt, coriander sprigs and potato fries.
