This is the unique recipe from my family. Its fulfilling dinner for weeknights, family favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 300-350 gram Goat Meat
  • Garlic Cloves 2
  • Water 1 cup for pressure cook
  • 1 Onion., thinly sliced
  • Olive Oil 3-4 Tbsp
  • 1 Green chilli
  • Almond Meal, 3 Tablespoons
  • Light Cream, 50 ml (4-5 tbsp)

Method:

  1. Add goat meat in a pressure cooker. Season with salt and pepper and add garlic.
  2. Add 200 ml water, give a mix and pressure cook for 15 minutes. Allow the pressure cooker to release pressure and then open the lid. IF YOU’RE NOT USING A PRESSURE COOKER – Continue to cook covered in a heavy bottomed pan for 1.5-2 hours till the meat is tender. Do give a stir few times and add water as & when necessary
  3. In a large pan add onion and saute for 7-8 minutes on high heat. After that take out fried onion and allow it to cool down before adding it to the food processor. Add 1 green chili, almond meal and cream in the food processor. Blend well for 20-30 second.
  4. Add curry mixture in the same pan and cook for 5 minutes, add cooked meat in the curry and cook for 5 more minutes or until the curry sauce is thick.
  5. Garnish with green chili and ginger pieces.
  6. Serve with rice or flat bread.
