Ingredients:
-
1 pound shrimp tails on or off
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
2 tbsp unsalted butter
-
6 cloves garlic minced
-
1/2 cup dry white wine
-
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley
-
Salt and pepper
Directions:
-
Cook the Srimps – In a medium pan over medium heat, pour olive oil. Add the shrimps and season with salt and pepper. Sear the shrimps for 1-2 minutes on each side or until pink. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
-
Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce. Reduce the heat and pour in the wine or broth and rasp. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
-
Pour the cream and stir to mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste and simmer for a few minutes.
-
Add the parmesan cheese, and allow to simmer until the cheese is incorporated and the sauce thickens.
-
Return the shrimp into the pan, generously sprinkle with parsley and stir to combine. If needed, add more salt and pepper.
-
Enjoy while it’s still hot over pasta, steamed vegetables, or dip some bread into the sauce.
