Recipe (makes 2 servings at 5.4g net carb each):
Ingredients:Â
- 50g coconut flour
- 3tsp xantham gum
- 7.5 tbsp hot water
- 1/3 cup grated hard cheese or Parmesan
- Sprinkle of Salt
- Oil to fry in
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients together
- Once formed into a dough-like ball, cover and rest for 15 minutes
- Flatten and slice into small strips (size of however you want your fries to be, Mine turned out best when made into a medium sized fry like in the picture)
- Fry until golden brown
- Sprinkle your fries with salt (important to season as otherwise bland)
